Movement and dance have long been my passion. In 2004 I moved with my husband to NYC and successfully auditioned for Jane Comfort and Company, a modern dance company.
In September 2008, Jane Comfort and Company premiered the work, American Rendition at the New Duke Theater on 42nd St. American Rendition is a political piece addressing torture and America's preoccupation and addiction to reality television. The piece was well received and was voted one of 2008's best performances by Gay City News and Thirteen WNET.
Other works by Jane Comfort and Company that I have been involved in: Fleeting Thoughts: Mr. Henderson's 4 a.m. (2006), Persephone (2004), Underground River (2004).
